When we were having coffee in Dark Roast in Iligan City we spotted the Orange Claw and we were curious on what it can offer. From the outside the ambience seems very nice so when an opportunity to have dinner with family occured we decided to try Orange Claw.
The Orange Claw is located at The Strip in Iligan City. This is also where Calda Pizza is located.
We waited inside The Strip for the others to arrive. When we received the message that they were near we proceeded to walk to Orange Claw. We passed by Delecta which was packed with people dining, when we entered Orange Claw there were not much people. We can’t help but ask why. Continue reading Orange Claw in The Strip, Iligan City

I’ve been to Brews Almighty more than any coffee shop in Iligan City during my 20 day stay. I’m a online worker so I needed a fast and reliable internet and an available electric socket for me to be able to work efficiently and Brew’s Almighty has those. But let’s talk about more on their food and some drinks.
Here are some of the food and drinks we have tried during our multiple visits there.
Toffee Coffee (135 Pesos)
It was weirdly hot on my visit in Iligan City that is why I almost always both cold drinks and I liked the Toffee Coffee. It had the right amount of coffee and chocolate. Perfect for the hot weather. Continue reading Brews Almighty in Iligan City, Philippines
Since I was visiting Iligan, my uncle invited me to have dinner at B. Bu. Q. Barbecue Haus. I knew Iligan knows how to cook up good food and even when we were kids I’ve already loved the taste of barbecue being sold on the side streets of Iligan City.
When I got to B. Bu. Q. in Quezon Ave. Extension I was glad that it was a decent looking open-air restaurant. The smell is as good and smokey as a barbecue shop gets. Continue reading B.Bu.Q Barbecue Haus in Quezon Ave. Extension, Iligan City, Philippines
On my first day in Iligan City, I asked a good friend of mine to take me to a restaurant where we could have a light dinner. She thought of many restaurants in town and eventually decided that we should try The Fruh Cafe. Somewhere near Iligan Institute of Technology (IIT) in Tibanga.
When I looked at their menu I was glad that the prices were also light on the pocket.
We ordered the following.
- Seafood Pasta – 95 Pesos
- Aglio E Olio (Bacon) – 65 Pesos
- Mango Roll Crepe – 65 Pesos
- Bananas & Hazelnut Crepe – 59 Pesos
We were just a few customers when we arrived at The Fruh Cafe so our orders were served in about 5-7 minutes.
The Seafood Pasta was good. I was very glad that the shrimps and mussels were visible. The amount was enough for someone who’s looking for a light dinner. The taste was how a seafood pasta should be. A good mix of spices, herbs, oil, pasta, tomato sauce and seafood.
The bread was a bit over-toasted for my taste but it was still a good complement to the seafood pasta. Continue reading The Fruh Cafe in Tibanga, Iligan City, Philippines
