That day we were not sure where we would go to sit down and spend time. We were planning to head to Gaisano Mall, but when we passed by Tedts Diner we decided to quickly try this place out due to friends highly recommending this place.
The store was renovated compared to the previous year that I have visited Iligan. It was now bigger and more spacious which is really good.
After we ate at Kinabuch’s Gill and Bar in Puerto Princesa City, we had to walk to NCCC to get to a computer shop as I have to print some test papers for my students. While on our way to the computer shop, we passed by Itoy’s Coffee Haus and my friend that it was the famous coffee place in Puerto Princesa and asked if she wanted to try it. She said yes, so we set our priorities first finish the printing and go back to Itoy’s Coffee House.
Since we were still full from eating Tamilok and Crocodile Sisig, we both decided to have the usual Cappuccino or what they call in their menu Itoy’s Coffee for 65 Pesos a cup. And since I was craving for some dessert we ordered their Blueberry Cheesecake for 120 Pesos per slice.
From where I live in Palawan there’s really no place to get those good brewed coffee that’s why it’s always nice to visit Coffee places like Itoy’s Coffee in Puerto Princesa City. Though small, I liked the ambience inside as these features a mix of brown, bricks and glass. The sound inside were one where you could have a good cup of coffee while hearing clearly your friend. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long as someone took on the stage and began singing. The song was good, I just wished it was a little more quieter so I could hear clearly what my friend was saying. Still it was somewhat tolerable.
Our Cappuccino was served with steam-milk foam with cinnamon powder on top. It tasted like a good strong Cappuccino, the way it was supposed to be.
When the Blueberry Cheesecake arrived, since we were full from our dinner we did not eat it immediately though I admit it was deliciously looking. Since I ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake I get to have the first try. Let’s just say that it was just ordinary for me. I didn’t taste the cheese that much and the filling had a bit too much gelatine on it.
So would I ever go back to Itoy’s Coffee Haus?
Of course! You should try their Black Forest Smoothie as it’s one of my favorites there. 🙂
