Armed with an empty stomach and the will to taste new food I went to Amigos Cuisine to meet up with Iligan Bloggers Society for a late lunch.
As the food came, each one of us gave time to take pictures of each food. And below are the photos of the food that was served.
If you’re going to ask me what were my favorite from all those that they served us I would select the following.
- Symphony Salad – because I love salads with lettuce, slices of mangoes & tomatoes added with boiled eggs, poured with balsamic vinegar and showered with parmesan cheese.
- Ground Beef Quesadilla – the perfect mix of tacos, ground beef and chilis dipped in sour cream sauce and topped with salsa.
- Amigos Sweet Potato Fries – because the French Fries could change citizenship and be something lighter and sweeter.
Since Amigos is not located in the front of the building. It’s not that easy to spot if you’re just passing by inside a jeepney. To make it easy for you to locate when asking locals, Amigos Cuisine is located near Iligan Institute of Technology (IIT) and on the same building as Red Ribbon.
Once you spot it, you can enter into this two storey restaurant.
Other notable things about Amigos Cuisine is that they do not serve pork and I hope sometime soon they will be Halal Certified.
Amigos Cuisine menu says that they specialize in Filipino, American and Mexican style cuisine. Looking at their menu I have a good feeling that they focused more on the Mexican style. Focused well they did as the food tasted great, the servings were generous. It was not cheap nor was it expensive, just the right price for good food.
