It was the night of April 2013 when I met with friends. We were looking for a nice place where we could sit back and talk in Robinsons Pioneer when we ended up at the basement parking. There it was a small stall with 2 tables and 3 chairs that had the sign of Amy’s Fruit and Vegetable Cakes.
I’ve usually associated cakes with a sinful sweet taste but the ones in Amy’s Fruit and Vegetable Cakes did not sound as evil as it used to be.
Here’s pictures of their different cakes that were on display.
Since I was a fan of Chocolate Cakes, we ordered for a slice of Choco Ampalaya Delight Cake which we took out and ate somewhere else since there was not enough seats to accommodate us.
When I tasted the Choco Ampalaya Delight Cake, I could taste the chocolate and it had a different taste, maybe because of the ampalaya, but I could not find the taste of the ampalaya there. The truth is, it tasted healthy which means it was just okay for me. I wished I had ordered the Pastillas Kalabasa Cake, at least for that I did not have a high expectation such as the chocolate cake.
I’ll order the Pastillas Kalabasa Cake next time. 🙂
