When we went to the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), Laguna to buy Kesong Puti, we also bought some CaraBest Yoghurt at the Dairy Corner at the Philippine Carabao Center, Institute of Animal Science.
The lady on the counter asked if we were buying plain or flavored. I asked what’s their best seller and she answered Strawberry and Blueberry. She asked for the size, I answered only 100 grams.
The special thing about the CaraBest Yoghurt is that the milk that was used to make the yoghurt came from a Carabao, in Tagalog terms Kalabaw. In fact all of the products of the Dairy Corner in the Philippine Carabao Center are all made from Carabao’s Milk.
I did not had a chance to eat or drink the yoghurts we bought right at the Dairy Corner but I did have the chance to gulp the Strawberry and Blueberry when we dined at McDonalds near the Main Gate of UPLB. It did taste good as I enjoyed every sip I made with my Yoghurt, however I was looking for more flavor. Though the Blueberry Yoghurt had a few chunks of blueberry in it, I wish it had more. The Strawberry Yoghurt could have had some chunks too. But I know if they add more the price would go up and it would no longer be affordable as it is.
Anyways, I really enjoyed it and helped on my digestion after lunch.
What other flavors do they have?
