Uncle Cheffy at Eastwood
After 2 hours of chatting at Happy Lemon Eastwood Mall my cousins and I went out to look for food again that’s when we ended up in Uncle Cheffy Brick Oven BBQ.
My stomach was already a bit full that time and I could easily call it a day but the plan changed when I tasted their Lengua Salpicado.
My appetite simply came back with a simple the taste of stewed ox tongue with fresh pepper and well cooked carrots and potato. If my cousins did not order some of their Panizza then I would have devoured the Lengua Salpicado without leaving some for my cousins.
It was not my first time to eat their Panizza, but it was my first time to eat it properly.
To eat the Panizza you have to
- Cut a slice of a Panizza and put it in your plate.
- Put some tomatoes, herbs and greens on top of your sliced Panizza.
- Put a splatter of hot sauce.
- Roll the Panizza.
- Eat.
We ordered two Panizzas. All Meat Barbecued (Beef teriyaki, pork, chicken barbeque, onion and chili flakes and 3 cheese) and East Meets West (Parmahan, salami, kesong puti, salted eggs, tomatoes, mango and 3 cheese). I love them both but if I were to choose between the two I would choose the All Meat Barbecue than the East Meets West.
Try it.
