Tapsi ni Vivian at Bulaluhan

Tapsi ni Vivian at Bulaluhan
My brother, my cousin and I were looking for that after church food treat near Robinsons East my brother brought up Tapsi ni Vivian. I have heard a lot of good gossip about this place so we decided to check it out so we can prove to ourselves that this gossip is true.

We asked for their best sellers and as the good gossips says it was their Tapa and Bulalo.

Bulalo

Soup of Bulalo

I loved how the Bulalo was presented to us because the soup with stock and meat are all in one bowl and the big bone is on a separate plate. Usually this is the biggest problem we have is that the big bone is making it difficult to get the vegetables, meat and soup. The bigger the bone, the way hungrier we get.

Big bone of Bulalo

The taste was good! It would not be their best seller if it did not taste good. 🙂

Taste: 9/10 – Must try!
Texture: 9/10
Value for your money: 7/10
Price: P225.00 per bowl

Tapa

Tapa

We actually ordered for Tapsilog (Tapa, Sinangag at Itlog) but unfortunately the waiter mistook our order as only Tapa since we 3 were going to share a single meal of Tapsilog. But we still took the Tapa and it was also good but I could only imagine how could would it be with the Fried Rice and Egg.

Taste: 8/10
Texture: 8/10
Value for your money: 8/10
Price: P100.00 per plate, good for 3

From the stories I heard, Tapsi ni Vivian and Bulaluhan are popular in the early morning and I think sleepiness and Bulalo would be a good combination for that early morning stressed out super late dinner.

Our Budget

P225.00 – Bulalo
P100.00 – Tapa
P60.00 – 3 Plain Rice (P20 each)
P385.00 – TOTAL
P128.33 – Each person
