I have been hearing good things about the Lemon Pie House in Sagada and truth be told that I forgot this place when I got there. But seeing the interesting facade on my way to Sumaging Cave, all the testimonials quickly flashed back through my mind with the conclusion of “I must eat here.”
One thing I liked about Lemon Pie House is that you do not have to enter the premises to know what their prices are. I’m the type of guy who’s a bit embarassed if I comfortably sat inside a food shop just to know that the food there is too expensive for my budget.
Phew! The single serving of pies are well within my budget. Conclusion: I must eat here.
I tried the 3 pies on the sign in front of the establishment.
You will not go wrong if you try their Lemon Pie. What I do not like about fruit flavored pies is that they taste too sweet and artificial but here the flavor of the lemon was above all the other flavors making it one of the best lemon pies I’ve tasted. They would not name their shop Lemon Pie House if this was not their best recipe.

I did the mistake of eating the Lemon Pie before eating the Egg Pie. Due to the strong flavor of the Lemon Pie it had affected my taste buds before I tasted the soft and light flavored Egg Pie. But according to my friends it did taste good. I just do not know if it is a must try.

This was also one of my favorites in Lemon Pie House. It was not too sweet and you can taste the blueberry well because they used real blueberries in it. This also is a must try.

Authors Advice: If ever you will try the 3 pies above, taste them in the sequence of Egg Pie >> Blueberry Pie >> Lemon Pie so the strong taste of the Lemon Pie will not affect your taste buds.
Cool temperature outside and the woodworks inside made me not forget that I was in Sagada. It was the perfect ambience for a coffee and a pie.
